Ukhrul, May 4: In a commendable effort to ensure student safety amid challenging circumstances, the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) successfully facilitated the safe return of NEET 2026 aspirants from Imphal to Ukhrul.
Demonstrating timely coordination and responsibility, TKS arranged transportation for candidates to reach their examination centre despite the prevailing uncertainties. Two vehicles were deployed on separate days to transport students to Imphal ahead of the examination. Following the successful completion of NEET on May 3, three vehicles were arranged to bring the candidates back safely.

The students reached Ukhrul on May 4 without any untoward incidents, marking the operation a success. While a nominal fee was collected from the passengers, the remaining transportation cost for the return journey was generously borne by the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Asish Das.
TKS expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for the support extended during the critical time. Appreciation was also extended to the drivers for their dedication and for ensuring a safe and smooth journey throughout.
Above all, the organization acknowledged divine guidance for the safe return of all candidates. TKS further conveyed its best wishes to the students as they await their examination results.
