UKHRUL, October 24: Ensemble School of Arts, a music school established to promote musical learning and nurture local talent, was inaugurated at Phungreitang, Seipet Zingsho Tang, on October 24, 2026.
The school was formally blessed and inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Rev. Dr. Ephraim Shaiza, Senior Pastor of Phungyo Baptist Church, Thahao/Wino.

Addressing the gathering, school owner Kachinmi Shingnaisui expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the opening ceremony. Emphasising the importance of collective effort, Shingnaisui said, “I never thought this was mine, but ours.” He explained that the vision behind the school was rooted in the idea of working together and building something meaningful for the community.
Reflecting on the emotional significance of the occasion, Shingnaisui also remembered his late father, who had contributed to the vision behind the initiative. He expressed sadness that his father was no longer present to witness the school’s opening.
The school is owned by Kachinmi Shingnaisui, with Terrance Lamlang Awungshi serving as co-founder.
In his address, Rev. Dr. Ephraim Shaiza highlighted the importance of faith, knowledge and wisdom in life. Referring to the biblical teaching, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,” he reminded the gathering that everything people possess is a gift from God.
The pastor further emphasised that recognising the value of life is an important aspect of wisdom, encouraging those present to appreciate life’s blessings and understand its true worth.
The inauguration marked a significant milestone for the founders, opening new opportunities for aspiring musicians to pursue musical education and develop their talents.
