August 31, 2026: A formal handing-over and charge-taking ceremony for the office of Kilo Secretary of the NSCN/GPRN was held on Monday in the presence of departmental colleagues and community representatives.
During the ceremony, outgoing Kilo Secretary Ino. Qhetoyi A. Swu formally handed over the duties and responsibilities of the office to Ino. Joseph Lotha, who assumed charge as the new Kilo Secretary.
The occasion acknowledged the contributions, leadership and service rendered by Swu during his tenure. The Kilo Secretariat expressed its appreciation for his dedicated service and conveyed its best wishes to Lotha as he takes on the responsibilities of the office.
The programme also marked a change in the leadership of the Steering Committee, NSCN, with Ino. Mozamo Ngullie assuming charge as the new Convener. He succeeds Maj. Hutovi Chishi (Retd.) CLM, who served as the former Convener of the committee.
The NSCN/GPRN Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), in its press release issued on August 31, stated that the leadership transitions were formally conducted through the handing and taking of charge ceremony.
The Secretariat extended its gratitude to the outgoing office-bearers for their service and leadership, while welcoming the newly appointed leaders and wishing them success in carrying out their respective responsibilities.
