Imphal, May 26: The Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur, has extended the deadline for submission of online applications for the appointment of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers across the state.
According to an official notification issued by the Directorate of Social Welfare on Tuesday, the extension has been granted in connection with the recruitment process announced earlier through a notification dated May 8, 2026.
As per the revised schedule, candidates can now submit their online applications till May 28, 2026, up to 11:59 PM, extending the earlier deadline which was set for May 26, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
The notification, issued under reference No. 10/75/ICDS/2026-AW(R), stated that the extension was made to facilitate concerned applicants seeking appointments for Anganwadi Centres across Manipur.
The order was issued by Sheikh Abdul Hakim, Director of Social Welfare, Manipur.
Officials have urged all eligible and interested candidates to complete the online application process within the extended deadline to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
