CHANDEL, August 10: The second session of the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026 concluded at Leikun in Chandel district on Monday, with participants receiving certificates in recognition of their involvement in the nationwide campaign promoting patriotism, unity and national pride.
The concluding programme was held at the 8th Battalion Manipur Rifles Campus at Leikun after a massive contingent of around 1,243 bikers, including members of several biker clubs and personnel from various security forces, completed the rally from Imphal to Chandel.
Earlier in the morning, Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh flagged off the rally from Hapta Kangjeibung in Imphal East. The participants made a brief halt at Khongjom Gate for regrouping before continuing their journey towards Chandel.
The bikers reached the 8th Bn. Manipur Rifles Campus at Leikun at around 9:45 a.m., where they were received for the concluding ceremony.
The formal programme began with a welcome address by Chandel Deputy Commissioner Smt Momoni Doley.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. IK Muivah, Additional Director General of Police (HR/HG) and Chairman of the Organising Committee for the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally, lauded the enthusiastic participation of the biker clubs and security personnel.
He said the strong participation from different sections reflected a collective commitment to strengthening the spirit of unity and national pride while carrying forward the message of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Certificates of participation were distributed to office bearers of the participating biker clubs in recognition of their contribution and involvement in the rally.
The Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally was organised by Manipur Police as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aimed at encouraging citizens to celebrate the national flag and reinforce the values of patriotism, unity and pride in the nation.
Several senior police officers were also present at the concluding programme.
