The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN/GPRN), through its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), has issued a “Clarion Call” urging all Naga people and comrades in arms to unite as “one family, one people, and one nation.”
In the statement dated October 7, 2026, the NSCN/GPRN reiterated that the Naga national struggle is aimed at achieving the sovereignty of Nagalim, describing it as a “righteous cause” and stating that the movement has continued for more than seven decades.
The statement emphasized the NSCN/GPRN’s position that Nagas are one people regardless of geographical boundaries. It rejected the distinction between “Eastern Nagalim” and “Western Nagalim,” asserting that there is only Nagalim. According to the statement, ancestral Naga territories were divided in 1953 between India and Myanmar.
