In a strong display of unity and resilience, Sinakkeithei Shanao Long staged a peaceful protest in Sinakeithei Village, Manipur, raising urgent concerns over the continuing violence and insecurity affecting local communities.
The demonstrators gathered in an organized sit-in, holding placards with messages such as Stop Firing, Stop Bombing, Save our Future, We demand Justice, No Justice, No Peace, Our Land our Rights, No misuse of SoO And Withdrawn SoO. The protest reflected growing frustration among civilians, particularly women, who have borne the brunt of the ongoing conflict. Protesters called for immediate intervention to ensure the safety of innocent villagers and demanded accountability from authorities. Several banners also highlighted concerns over the presence of armed groups and alleged threats to indigenous communities. Speaking during the demonstration, participants emphasized the need for lasting peace, protection of human rights, and restoration of normalcy. “We want our children to live without fear.
