Medziphema, Nagaland: A serving personnelof the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), hailing fromNagaland, has filed an urgent police complaintat the Medziphema Town Police Station,seeking an FIR against multiple social mediaaccounts for severe cyber harassment,criminal defamation, and characterassassination.
The complainant, a resident of Sirhima Villagecurrently posted in Delhi, stated in her letter tothe Officer-in-Charge that certain individualsand social media accounts are deliberatelytargeting her with false and maliciouspropaganda.
According to the complaint, these accountshave unlawfully circulated her photos andvideos, falsely branding her as a “Kuki narcoterrorist.” Furthermore, the perpetrators haveallegedly attached vulgar, sexually explicit, andabusive captions to the media.
In her appeal, the disciplined serving memberof the SSB expressed deep anguish, notingthat the coordinated online attack was carriedout with the “clear intention of destroying mydignity, tarnishing my professional image,humiliating me publicly, and inciting hatred.”
Authorities are expected to launch aninvestigation into the social media accountsinvolved to trace the origins of the defamatorycontent and take strict legal action against theculprits.
