Churachandpur, July 14, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar on Tuesday chaired a district-level meeting to review the implementation and progress of various Central and State Government schemes and programmes in Churachandpur district.
The meeting, held at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioners, District Level Officers, the Lead District Manager of the State Bank of India, and officials from various line departments.
During the meeting, District Level Officers presented reports highlighting departmental achievements, innovative initiatives, ongoing activities and targets.
The discussions focused on improving coordination among departments, accelerating the execution of development projects and ensuring that government benefits reach citizens within the stipulated timeframe.
Addressing the officers, Krishna Kumar emphasised the importance of transparency, accountability and inter-departmental cooperation in the implementation of government schemes. He encouraged departments to adopt innovative approaches and replicate successful models across different sectors.
The Deputy Commissioner also stressed that development programmes should be implemented uniformly across all subdivisions of the district.
“Be responsible for the works we are implementing and strive to complete them within the stipulated timeframe,” he told the officers.
He further appealed to District Level Officers to actively participate in the Ni-kshay Mitra initiative under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and contribute towards efforts to eradicate tuberculosis.
The meeting concluded with directions to all departments to submit updated progress reports and action plans ahead of the next review meeting.
