Kamjong, May 30: The District Administration of Kamjong has commenced the Enumeration Phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls, 2026, with the deployment of 78 designated Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across the district.
According to a press note issued by the Office of the District Election Officer/DC, Kamjong, the Election Commission of India has directed the revision exercise to ensure the accuracy and updation of electoral rolls. Enumeration forms have been issued to all BLOs for distribution to registered electors.

The BLOs will conduct door-to-door visits from May 30 to June 28, 2026, delivering duplicate copies of pre-filled documentation to electors. Residents are required to verify and provide updated information pertaining to themselves and their family members in the enumeration forms. After completion, one copy will be collected by the BLO, while the duplicate copy, duly endorsed with a signature, will remain with the elector as an official receipt.
The administration clarified that no documents will be collected from electors during the enumeration phase. Voters may also download and submit enumeration forms online through the Election Commission’s voter portal and the ECINet mobile application.
To facilitate verification, electors can access their previous SIR records through the Election Commission website and the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur portal. Assistance is also available through the Toll-Free Voter Helpline Number 1950 and the “Book a Call with BLO” feature available online.
The press note further stated that in cases where enumeration forms are not returned, BLOs will ascertain the reasons for non-submission and categorize such cases under Absent, Shifted, Dead, or Duplicate (ASDD) based on local inquiries. The ASDD list, along with reasons for non-inclusion, will be displayed on the notice board of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and made available on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website for public access.
Additionally, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by recognized national and state political parties will work in coordination with BLOs throughout the enumeration process.
The press note was issued by L.N. Kashung, IAS, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong.
