Hebron, September 10, 2026: The National Court of Nagalim has ordered the temporary suspension of all pending civil suits and cases in Southern Nagalim, citing the abnormal situation prevailing in the area.
According to an order issued by the National Court of Nagalim on September 10, 2026, the directive was issued pursuant to an earlier order of the Court concerning the prevailing situation in Southern Nagalim.
The order states that all civil suits and cases covered under the directive, whether pending before the National Court or Regional Courts, shall remain under temporary suspension until further orders.
It further directed all Regional Courts within Southern Nagalim to remain suspended and prohibited them from initiating any court proceedings during the period of suspension. The suspension has taken immediate effect and will remain in force until further instructions from the Government.
The order was issued under the authority of the National Court for compliance and was signed by Col. Nganingkhui Longleng (Retd.), Chief Justice, National Court/GPRN.
