Imphal, July 3, 2026: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West District, has issued a public notice informing commuters that the Road Under Bridge at Km 10 on NH-37, Jiribam–Imphal Road, will remain temporarily closed for the erection of a height gauge by the Northeast Frontier Railway.
According to the notice, the temporary closure will be enforced on two nights: from 10:00 PM on July 4 to 1:00 AM on July 5, and again from 10:00 PM on July 5 to 1:00 AM on July 6, 2026.
During the closure period, traffic will be diverted through the designated diversion route. Commuters have been requested to follow the diversion, obey traffic signages, and cooperate with police and officials on duty.
The notice was issued by Mayanglambam Rajkumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West, who also regretted the inconvenience caused to the public.
