Ukhrul, July 11: Members of the Tangkhulnao Argentina Fans on Saturday called on the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) office and held a brief but meaningful interaction with officials regarding the ongoing initiatives of the TKS Education Mission.
During the interaction, the visitors were informed about the efforts being undertaken by the TKS Education Team to support students affected by the prevailing situation in different parts of the district.
According to TKS, approximately 150 students from Litan, Laho (South), Sharkaphung, TM Kasom/Roudei, Sinakeithei and Tanrui have been relocated to Ukhrul to enable them to continue their education in a safe and supportive environment.
Since their relocation, the TKS Education Team has been extending all possible assistance to the students to ensure that their studies continue without interruption. The organisation stressed that every child deserves access to education irrespective of the difficult circumstances they may face.
The Tangkhulnao Argentina Fans extended a generous contribution towards the education mission, drawing appreciation from TKS.
Expressing gratitude, TKS stated that the contribution was not merely financial assistance but an investment in the hopes, dreams and future of the affected children.
The organisation said it was inspiring to see football enthusiasts coming together not only to celebrate the FIFA World Cup and support their favourite team, but also to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young students.
TKS observed that the FIFA World Cup 2026 would be remembered in its history as more than just a football tournament. It would also be remembered as an occasion when the love of football inspired a collective commitment towards education and created hope beyond the football field.
The organisation further appealed to the community to encourage and support local young talents while enjoying the global football tournament.

It also called upon individuals, groups and well-wishers to continue supporting the affected students and help them realise their dreams and reach their full potential.
